Sloan Dean joined Remington January 1, 2018 as COO, and was promoted to CEO & President on January 1, 2020. Remington manages 87 hotels in 27 states with annual revenues over $1B. Prior to leading Remington, Sloan was with Ashford Inc. for the 5 years prior as SVP of Revenue Optimization & Underwriting and oversaw Ashford’s asset management team. Brad Garner is Senior Vice President of Client Services & Relationships for STR (STR, Inc.). Emmy Hise is a Senior Consultant in the Consulting and Analytics division for STR. She has over 11 years of experience in the lodging sector, including performance optimization analysis for a management company and hospitality business development experience. Ms. Hise spent the first few years of her career working in operations. From there, she transitioned to a business development role for nearly 5 years. She worked on the disposition side for CBRE Hotels and then transitioned to the acquisition and management contract side for Two Roads Hospitality. During this time, she focused on numerous analytic lodging and real estate projects including market studies, due diligence, single asset and portfolio transactions, valuations, underwriting, and amenity and facility offerings analysis. Her most recent position, prior to joining STR, was Director of Performance Optimization for Two Roads Hospitality, a leading operator of independent hotels with more than 85 properties in eight countries. In this role, she acted as an in-house consultant that utilized internal and external data to provide analysis that facilitated decisions impacting performance.

AMANDA HITE

Amanda W. Hite, STR’s president since 2011, oversees the company’s business activities and overall direction.

Under Hite’s leadership, STR has experienced substantial growth in its global presence, client base, data coverage and revenue. Her time with the company has also resulted in several significant milestones, including the 2016 unification of STR’s global brands, and the implementation of a number of key industry deliverables. Additionally, Hite led STR through the company’s acquisition by CoStar Group (NASDAQ: CSGP) in late 2019.

Hite’s accomplishments have been recognized with inclusion in “30 Influential Women in Hospitality” and “40 Under 40 Emerging Leaders” lists.

Hite is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Hotel & Lodging Association, the U.S. Travel Association, the Executive Council of Women in Lodging, and the Board of Directors of Forward Sumner Economic Partnership. She also serves as a member of the Travel and Tourism Advisory Council for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and on the Industry Advisory Board of the Hotel and Restaurant Management Program at Auburn University.

Prior to joining STR in 2006, Hite was the Director of Research for the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce. She is a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College with a B.S. in Business Administration. She resides in Hendersonville, TN, with her husband and two children.

Andrew is a seasoned hospitality veteran with over 25 years of experience and considered by many in the industry as one of the foremost revenue management and global distribution experts anywhere. He serves currently as EVP & Chief Commercial Officer for Omni Hotels & Resorts responsible for Marketing, Sales, Loyalty, Revenue Management, Digital Marketing, eCommerce, Distribution and Channel Strategy.

He was previously the Senior Vice President of Distribution & Global Revenue Management for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). In this role he was responsible for the leadership of an integrated Distribution and Revenue Management Strategy team including Global Revenue Management operations, as well as third party Internet, global distribution systems and distribution strategy for IHG’s brands.  He and his team also negotiated industry leading distribution deals all over the world.

In addition to IHG, he has worked with Bristol Hotels & Resorts and MeriStar Hotels & Resorts. He also has extensive experience in sales, guest services, hotel operations and e-commerce.

Mr. Rubinacci holds bachelor degrees in business administration, majoring in both marketing and hospitality administration at Florida State University. He has served on the boards of HEDNA, Worldres, HSMAI, Open Travel, Roomkey, and the Dedman School of Hospitality.
