Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA) Workshop Coming in August

Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA) Workshop will be held in Nashville, Tenn. on August 3rd and 4th immediately prior to the Hotel Data Conference.  The CHIA is the leading hotel-related certification for university students graduating from hospitality and tourism programs, and a growing number of hotel industry professionals are obtaining the designation.  Nearly 3,000 CHIA certifications have been granted, and this will be the 43rd workshop conducted.  The CHIA recognition provides evidence of a thorough knowledge of the foundational metrics, definitions, formulas, and methodologies that are used by the hotel industry. Recipients have proven that they can “do the math” and interpret the results. They have demonstrated an ability to analyze various types of hotel industry data and to make strategic inferences based upon that analysis. Certification also confirms a comprehensive understanding of benchmarking and performance reports. Recipients receive a certificate and are able to use the CHIA designation on their business cards and resumes. It is being offered globally through a joint effort between AH&LEI, ICHRIE, STR and STR Global.

Please note:  The CHIA Workshop is a separate event from the Hotel Data Conference and has a separate registration process with contact information included below.
